Job summary

ENS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer in the Dartford area (South East London and Kent). Basic salary £38-41k with monthly bonuses after probation.

You will service and repair a range of assets on customer sites, including trailers, winches, dumpers, diggers, telehandlers, Manitou, pallet trucks and pumps. You may need to bring your own tools; specialist tooling can be supplied where required.

Qualifications

• Experienced Mobile Plant Engineer.
• LOLER training ideal; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair on customer sites with high standards.
• Involve trailer and towing inspection, PUWER, towing law, brakes and lighting.
• Work with agricultural and vegetation plant, fuel bowsers, and some pump work.
• Use own tools; specialist tooling available if required (torque wrench, testing gauges).

Job description

Due to company growth, we are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer in the Dartford (South East London and Kent areas). Basic salary £38-41k and after probationary period you are then eligible for their monthly bonuses.

Our client offers their customers an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance.

As a Plant Engineer you will be responsible for multiple customer's sites ensuring excellent customer service and a high standard of servicing and repairs on their customer's sites.

This role will involve Trailer and towing inspection. PUWER, towing law, brakes, coupling, lighting. Agricultural and vegetation plant, fuel bowsers, some pump work

Your hours start when you leave home in the morning, not just from when you reach site.

Services and repair work will be carried out on a variety of assets including but not limited to:

• Trailers
• Winches
• Dumpers
• Diggers
• Skimmers
• Telehandler
• Manitou plus some smaller equipment
• Pallet trucks
• Pumps

Being LOLER trained is ideal, but training can be given.

All jobs are pre-booked for you via their Head Office team. Job sheets and bookings are all communicated via tablet.

The candidate is required to have their own tools, but specialist tooling can be supplied if required i.e torque wrench and testing gauges.
