Job summary

Our client, a well established plant and vehicle maintenance company, is recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer in the Woodford (E London and Essex areas). Basic annual salary range £38-41k plus after successful probationary period you are then eligible for their monthly bonuses.

This role will involve Trailer and towing inspection, PUWER, towing law, brakes, coupling, lighting for agricultural and vegetation plant: mowers, flails, PTO and blade work. Heaviest tanker area.

Qualifications

• Strong plant experience required.
• LOLER training is ideal but training can be given.
• Own tools required; specialist tooling can be supplied if needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trailers and towing equipment and ensure compliance with PUWER and towing laws.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on agricultural and vegetation plant and related equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards on customer sites.

Due to company growth, they are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer in the Woodford (E London and Essex areas). Basic annual salary range £38-41k plus after successful probationary period you are then eligible for their monthly bonuses.

This role will involve Trailer and towing inspection. PUWER, towing law, brakes, coupling, lighting. Agricultural and vegetation plant: mowers, flails, PTO and blade work. Vacuum tankers, ATUs, fuel bowsers, pressure systems and bunding. Heaviest tanker area

Strong plant experience required, ideally with pumps, diggers, dumpers, diggers, skimmers, trailers. Company van included - not for personal use.

Our client offers their customers an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance. As a Plant Engineer you will be responsible ensuring excellent customer service and a high standard of servicing and repairs on their customer's sites.

Your hours start when you leave home in the morning, not just from when you reach site. Services and repair work will be carried out on a variety of assets including but not limited to:

• Trailers
• Winches
• Dumpers
• Diggers
• Skimmers
• Telehandler
• Manitou plus some smaller equipment
• Pallet trucks
• Pumps

Being LOLER trained is ideal, but training can be given.

All jobs are pre-booked for you via their Head Office team. Job sheets and bookings are all communicated via tablet.

The candidate is required to have their own tools, but specialist tooling can be supplied if required i.e torque wrench and testing gauges.
