Job summary

Nottingham City Council is recruiting two mobile repairs and maintenance operatives to support the Parking Services across the city’s council buildings, premises stock and equipment, operating both on and off street.

The role involves a 37‑hour week on a 6am–11pm rota over seven days, with hybrid working available; you will need an NVQ in a related area, health and safety knowledge, and be willing to participate in the on‑call rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ in a related area or willingness to attend training to attain this.
• Experience/knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to highways activities.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide repairs and maintenance across parking buildings, premises stock and equipment.
• Work with the Service Manager to deliver a mobile repairs service from a central location.
• Respond to needs at multiple locations to maintain service continuity.
