Job summary

A leading mobile repair company is seeking an experienced Mobile SMART/Paint Technician in the Canterbury area. The role offers excellent earning potential with on-target earnings of £45-£65K per annum. Candidates should have a valid UK driving licence and at least 3-5 years of paint repair experience. Successful applicants will undergo a paint assessment and receive further training to understand company procedures.

Are you an experienced Mobile SMART/Paint technician and looking for a new challenge in and around Canterbury? If the answer is “YES”, then you could be just the person we are looking for!

Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the largest independent Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with over 150 mobile technicians, we are now recruiting and expanding the Mobile Paint/ SMART Repair Technician team specifically in the Canterbury and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate(s) will provide Mobile SMART Paint Repair services to our dealership customers in and around Canterbury, thus offering excellent earning potential. A successful Mobile Paint/SMART Repair Technician should have a valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer focussed and most importantly work to a high standard!

Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday.

Preferred experience is as follows: -

• A self-motivated individual and able to work on their own initiative
• Preferably, a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ paint repair experience (Preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
• Able to paint a min of 2 vertical panels and blend
• Has great attention to detail
• Has been customer facing in former roles
• Basic Maths and English required
• Prepared to travel on a daily/mobile basis to carry out the SMART Repair requirements of our customers.
• Able to be flexible with hours as our customers require
• Good time keeper
  
  

All applicants would be invited to complete a morning/half day paint assessment at our Head Office in Orpington (all travel/fuel expenses reimbursed) before any offer is made, and following this, if successful, further training would be offered to understand our procedures and process requirements.
