Rullion is working alongside a global leading manufacturer of Gas Turbines and is seeking a contract CAD Technician for design support. This role is a 6-month rolling contract with potential for long-term continuity.

This is a fully remote position, supporting a team that covers the UK.

Responsibilities:

1. Create 3D models and detailed drawings for new and updated gas turbine components.
2. Remaster old drawings to meet modern standards.
3. Assist colleagues in the design review process for new and updated components.
4. Manage Definition Alteration Requests (DARs).
5. Support colleagues in updating Bills of Material and gas turbine configurations in Siemens PLM2020.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• Proficiency in Siemens NX and PLM2020 software.
• BTEC, HND, or HNC in a recognized engineering discipline.
• Ability to read old drawings and designs.
• Comfort working in imperial units.
• Ability to interpret small-assembly drawings, including detailed notes and cross-section geometry.

Preferred:

• Experience drafting gas turbine components.
• Experience producing drawings through formal design review processes.
• Familiarity with aerospace and industrial gas turbine specifications and procedures.
• Experience aligning CAD parts to support whole-engine CAD models.
