Job summary

Rydon Maintenance is seeking a Fabric Engineer / Building Maintenance Operative to support NHS repairs and maintenance across sites between Swindon and Salisbury. Working in a mobile role, you will carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance on hospital facilities.

You will join a skilled team, use a handheld PDA to receive jobs, complete risk assessments and close work in real time. A full UK driving license is essential, and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Solid Health & Safety awareness and experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance and weekly/monthly planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Repair and maintenance tasks including doors, taps, TMV servicing, cabinets and wall units, pipework and lighting.
• Use handheld PDA to receive jobs, record risk assessments and close jobs in real time.
• Be part of the out of hours call-out rota and participate in urgent repairs.
