Job summary

Rydon is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our NHS repairs and maintenance team in Bristol. This mobile role covers healthcare sites, requiring a full UK driving licence and ability to perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building services.

You will carry out PPMs and reactive tasks, use a handheld PDA to log work, and join an out-of-hours rota. A competitive salary, company van and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
• Solid Health & Safety awareness.
• Experience using a handheld device (PDA).
• Full UK driving licence for mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance on building, electrical and mechanical services.
• Perform weekly/monthly PPMs including emergency lighting tests and fire alarm checks.
• Include planned upgrade works and refurbishments as part of safety improvements.
• Use handheld PDA to receive jobs, record risk assessments and close jobs in real time.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota with overtime opportunities.
