Job summary

Rydon Maintenance is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Plumbing bias) to join our NHS healthcare team. This is a mobile role covering several NHS sites across the Salisbury area, requiring a full UK driving licence.

You will undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive plumbing repairs, with additional general maintenance tasks. The position offers a competitive salary, company van, 25 days holiday, and pension, with generous on‑call and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining buildings, ideally within NHS environments.
• Solid Health & Safety awareness and ability to perform risk assessments.
• Experience using handheld devices (PDA) for field work and job updates.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance on plumbing systems and building services across multiple sites.
• Perform weekly/monthly PPMs including emergency lighting and water temperature checks.
• Undertake planned upgrade works and refurbishments as part of ensuring safe environments.
