Job summary

Platform Property Care is inviting an experienced Multi Skill Carpenter to join its Responsive Repairs team in Birmingham. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, flooring and decoration across homes, with end-to-end responsibility for each job.

You will work closely with the Localities Area Manager, manage job progress from inspection through to completion, and ensure work is delivered to spec with excellent customer service. A valid driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Carpentry with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience delivering multi-trade maintenance work (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, flooring, decoration).
• Full driving licence is essential for a mobile role; DBS check required.
• Excellent communication and customer service in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of multi-skilled maintenance works including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, flooring and decoration.
• Manage jobs from inspection to post-inspection and complete works to specification.
• Take ownership of tasks, materials, and liaise with customers to deliver Right First-Time results.
