Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Mechanical/Heating Engineer to cover South Wales and the South West on a permanent basis. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, a competitive salary (£38,000–£46,000) and a company vehicle.

You will maintain and repair heating and hot water systems, carry out installations with certification, and service multiple sites including Stellantis, Guide Dogs, ITV. DBS check required, full driving licence; on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Recognised industry qualification is essential.
• Appropriate Plumbing Qualifications required.
• C&G Level 2 in Plumbing or Gas (Level 3 preferred).
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check as part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of heating/hot water systems and general plumbing.
• Carry out installation work and complete relevant certification.
• Work across multiple sites within South Wales, South West and Bristol as needed.
• Complete paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown works and pass to contract administrator.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
