Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer for Midlands sites including Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent. You will perform mechanical works in a commercial facilities setting, covering boilers, heating systems, and domestic hot/cold water systems, focusing on PPMs and reactive maintenance.

The role requires an industry qualification such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and a full driving licence; DBS checks or security vetting may be required.

Qualifications

• A recognised industry qualification is required.
• C&G Level 3 Plumbing desirable.
• Must have a full driver's licence.
• DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check may be required.
• Disclosure checks or security vetting may be part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical works in a commercial setting including plumbing, boilers and heating systems.
• Cover sites within the contract such as Stoke Schools and Guide Dogs.
• Ensure PPM is logged in real time using PDA with comments to evidence completion.
• Complete paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown work promptly.
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks to ensure safe working practices.
• Participate in on-call rota.
