Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to service West Midlands commercial buildings under the Midlands Mobile contract. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across sites in Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, and surrounding areas, focusing on heating and plumbing systems.

The role offers a salary around £38,000–£40,000 with routes for progression and on-call duties as part of a contracted schedule.

Qualifications

• Industry qualification required.
• Experience in mobile mechanical engineer roles.
• Experience servicing, repairing and installing heating and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical works in a commercial setting.
• Cover multiple sites within the contract.
• Log start/wait/stop times and travel using PDA for PPM activities.
• Complete paperwork for reactive and breakdown works promptly.
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks.
• Join on-call rota.
