Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited seeks a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to reactive works across our sites. You will report to the Contracts Manager and work with multiple departments to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient building services maintenance.

As part of the role you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, maintaining CAFM records, and adhering to attendance dates and shift rotas.

Qualifications

Vented/Unvented G3 qualification.
Commercial Gas (All Modules).
Experience with mechanical pipework, valves, pumps, HVAC plant.
General Building services qualifications (plumbing, repairs).
Qualification in at least one maintenance/engineering discipline.
Servicing and repair of onsite plant and fittings.
Organising housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance located in Eldon Square by the required attendance dates.
Update the Legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.
Provide job/quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system which provides live updates to our client.
Be included in a tech team shift rota covering the shopping centre opening hours.
Be part of a callout rota at the end of a successful probation period.
Work overtime as necessary to satisfy our client.

Job Description

As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds). You would be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements.
Reporting into the Contracts Manager and working in partnership with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance. Reacting to all repair work in the region mechanical/electrical/fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance.
Mobile phone, tablet and uniform would be provided.

You would also be required where necessary to work a reasonable amount of overtime to satisfy our client.

Salary - Up to £42k plus bonuses

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday - 42.5 hours per week with overtime starting after 47.5 hours

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Vented/Unvented G3 qualification
Commercial Gas (All Modules)
Experience performing works with Mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC Plant & equipment.
Extensive experience in General Building services Industry relevant qualifications-I.e. plumbing repairs etc.
Recognised qualification in at least one Maintenance/ Engineering discipline.
To carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required
To carry out servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings
To organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements
