Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified to City & Guilds level to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive work. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will respond to repairs across the region and work with other departments to deliver preventative maintenance, with kit provided.

You will join a team in Slough, with a 42.5-hour week and potential overtime, and be part of a rota for callouts after probation; a

Qualifications

• Vented/Unvented G3 qualification as essential.
• Commercial Gas (All Modules) certification required.
• Experience with mechanical pipework, valves, motors, pumps and HVAC plant.
• Recognised qualification in maintenance/engineering discipline.
• Ability to carry out repairs/replacements and servicing of onsite plant.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in the designated location on schedule.
• Update legal compliance documentation via tablet to a high standard.
• Provide job/quote updates for the CAFM system with live client updates.
• Be part of a tech team shift rota covering shopping centre opening hours.
• Be part of a callout rota after probation and work overtime as needed.

Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds). You would be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager and working in partnership with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance. Reacting to all repair work in the region mechanical/electrical/fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance.

Mobile phone, tablet and uniform would be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance located in Eldon Square by the required attendance dates.

You will also be required to update the Legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.

You will be required to provide job/quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system which provides live updates to our client.

Required to be included in a tech team shift rota covering the shopping centre opening hours.

You would also be required to be part of a callout rota at the end of a successful probation period.

You would also be required where necessary to work a reasonable amount of overtime to satisfy our client.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday - 42.5 hours per week with overtime starting after 47.5 hours

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Vented/Unvented G3 qualification

Commercial Gas (All Modules)

Experience performing works with Mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC Plant & equipment.

Recognised qualification in at least one Maintenance/ Engineering discipline.

To carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required

To carry out servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings

To organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements
