Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited seeks a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to perform scheduled and reactive maintenance across the East region. You will report to the Contracts Manager and partner with departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance.

The role requires a City & Guilds level qualification, G3 (vented/unvented) competency, and experience with mechanical pipework, HVAC plant and building services. A company van is provided.

Qualifications

Qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds).
Experience with mechanical pipework and HVAC plant.
Knowledge of building services maintenance and general trades.
Ability to carry out servicing and repairs of onsite plant and fittings.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance located in the East region by the required attendance dates.
Update compliance documentation via tablet to a high standard.
Provide job/quote updates for CAFM system with live client updates.
Participate in callout rota after probation period.
Possibly work overtime to satisfy client requirements.

Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds). You would be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager and working in partnership with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance. Reacting to all repair work in the region mechanical/electrical/fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance.

Mobile phone, tablet and uniform would be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance located in the East region by the required attendance dates.
You will also be required to update the Legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.
You will be required to provide job/quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system which provides live updates to our client.
You would also be required to be part of a callout rota at the end of a successful probation period.
You would also be required where necessary to work a reasonable amount of overtime to satisfy our client.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday - 42.5 hours per week with overtime starting after 47.5 hours

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Vented/Unvented G3 qualification
Commercial Gas (All Modules)
Experience performing works with Mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC Plant & equipment.
Extensive experience in General Building services Industry relevant qualifications-I.e. plumbing repairs etc.
Recognised qualification in at least one Maintenance/ Engineering discipline.
To carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required
To carry out servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings
To organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements
