Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to service a leading supermarket contract across Barnstaple, Bude and Bideford. The role involves non-technical repairs, minor PPMs and assisting in planned/reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant within the region.

Salary is £30,000 per year with a 40-hour week, travel-time paid after 30 minutes each way, and overtime at 1.5x Mon–Fri and 2x Sat–Sun.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.
• Experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) – Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment
