Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to service supermarket contracts in the Telford area. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores, applying health and safety procedures and ensuring cost-effective operation.

The role covers bakery and catering equipment, HVAC and electrical systems, lighting, water services, and general building fabric.

Qualifications

C&G 2382 (18th edition) preferred electrical qualification.
Level 3 core Electrical qualification with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

To complete all necessary PPMs and ensure remedial tasks are logged and actioned with legal compliance.
To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA) and coach them to perform duties per company processes.
To prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales and contract SLAs.

£41,506.36 (salary including on call standby 1:4)

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician, to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.

This is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Technician

To complete all necessary PPM's and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance
To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.
To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA's
