Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover the Central Belt, based in Glasgow. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites, working with a mobile engineering team.

The role offers a salary up to £45,000 DOE, a 1 in 6 on-call rota, and a company van with personal use. Monday to Friday and a long-term, permanent position with ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Responding to reactive electrical maintenance and breakdowns.
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Completing electrical repairs and remedial works.
• Carrying out testing and inspection where qualified.
• Supporting general building services maintenance when required.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current electrical regulations.
• Completing job sheets and maintenance records accurately.
• Liaising directly with clients and providing a high standard of customer service.
• Participating in a 1 in 6 on-call rota.

We're working with an established and growing Facilities Management & Building Management Services company looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician looking for a stable, long-term position offering a competitive salary, a manageable 1 in 6 on-call rota and the added benefit of a company van that can be used personally.

The role will be mobile, covering commercial sites throughout the Central Belt of Scotland, so we're ideally looking for someone based in Glasgow or the surrounding West of Scotland area.

The Role

Working as part of the mobile engineering team, you'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties.

What We're Looking For

• Recognised electrical qualification.

• Previous commercial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working in a mobile engineering position.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Testing & Inspection qualifications would be advantageous.

Candidates should ideally be based in Glasgow or the surrounding West of Scotland area due to the geographical coverage of the role.
