Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks a mobile Maintenance Technician to cover North East and North West England, 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday. You’ll deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems, ensuring tasks meet SLAs.

This role requires a driving licence, CSCS card, and NVQ or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical or Building Services, with safety documentation and site compliance experience. You’ll log service sheets and oversee contractor work to standards.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services with proven maintenance experience.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid.
• IT literate with basic Excel and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to contract profitability and service delivery.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Undertake contractor control duties and monitor workmanship to required standards.
• Support the site supervisor with delivery of contracted services to time, budget and quality.
• Provide a callout response as detailed on the callout rota.
