Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile technician to cover reactive works and PPMs across contract sites. You will complete service sheets, monitor workmanship and support the site supervisor to deliver safe, on-time and quality services.

The ideal candidate has a UK right-to-work, a full driving license, basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge, Legionella awareness training, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Role is mobile; Full Driving Licence required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Legionella awareness training will be provided.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to varied tasks.
• Willing to be on call one week in four.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined SLAs & KPIs.
• Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client; monitor workmanship and standards.
• Support the site supervisor with delivering all contracted services safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality.
