Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our team in South of England. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, supervise contractors, and maintain accurate CAFM records. The role requires an apprenticeship, 18th Edition, and a valid UK driving licence; on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship (EITB/CITB) or City & Guilds in electrical/mechanical.
• 18th Edition Electrical Certification and full UK driving licence.
• Experience in M&E services within commercial or corporate environments; CAFM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance on ME systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair across plant; respond to emergencies; participate in on-call rota.
• Supervise and manage third-party contractors; ensure work meets safety standards.
• Maintain records via CAFM and reporting tools; liaise with clients to ensure excellent service.
