Job summary

Equans is hiring a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join the Oxford team on a permanent basis. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will work on a variety of tasks including Electrical Distribution, Generator Testing, Air Handling Units, pumps, BMS, and weekly fire alarm testing, plus PPM and CAFM updates. The role requires recognised industry qualifications, experience in a similar role, and a full clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Recognised industry qualifications.
• Previous experience in undertaking a similar role.
• Must have a full clean driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• PPM tasks on Electrical distribution systems, generator testing, AHUs, pumps and BMS; record in real time.
• Complete maintenance paperwork and E-Forms; update CAFM with work details.
• Identify plant failures and opportunities for improvements; participate in on‑call rota.
