Job summary

Hydraquip Ltd in Ipswich is seeking a field service engineer to replace hydraulic hoses and components at customer sites, diagnose faults, and complete repairs safely and efficiently. You will work independently, maintain strong customer relationships, and update jobs via the company mobile app.

A full UK manual driving licence is essential, and training and development are provided. This hands-on role includes on-call duties one week in every four, with overtime, commission, and a company

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting is required.
• Confidence dealing directly with customers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app.
• Building relationships with new and existing customers.

What we're looking for

Essential experience

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence

Desirable experience

• Mobile or on-call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on-call rota, typically one week in every four.
