Job summary

Hydraquip Ltd, the UK’s leading hose and hydraulics specialist, is hiring a field-based technician to attend customer sites to replace hoses and components and to diagnose faults. You will work independently while delivering excellent service and build strong relationships with customers.

This role includes an on-call rota, a company van and full training. A full UK manual driving licence and comfort with on-site repair work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing hoses and components on-site.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Confidence in dealing directly with customers.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs safely.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app
• Building relationships with new and existing customers

What we’re looking for

Essential experience

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
