Job summary

BGIS UK & Europe is seeking a hands-on Van Mobile AC Engineer to maintain and repair AC units across London and the South East. The role requires fault finding on chillers, CRAC, DX, VRFs and AHUs within critical environments and data centres, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and timely site service.

The engineer will follow site schedules, complete PPM tasks, and support the client with proactive improvements.

Qualifications

• Good written and spoken English and basic Maths skills.
• Experience fault finding and maintaining various A/C types.
• Experience in corporate/critical environments (data centres).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair air conditioning units across sites within agreed timeframes.
• Attend reactive call-outs and perform proactive maintenance.
• Ensure health and safety processes and record-keeping (F-Gas, logbooks).
• Provide parts lists, timescales, and quotations as needed.
• Read risk assessments and method statements before starting tasks.
