Job summary

CBRE is recruiting a Mobile HVAC Engineer to support sites across Coalville, Derby, Mansfield, Eastwood, Minworth and Kettering. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant, equipment and building services.

Responsibilities include fault-finding on HVAC systems (VRV/VRF focus), managing environmental conditions via the BMS, liaising with the client, supervising subcontractors and taking part in an on‑call rota. An apprenticeship and F-Gas certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time‑served apprenticeship.
• Strong HVAC maintenance experience.
• City & Guilds mechanical qualifications.
• Good multi‑skilled capability.
• Strong fault‑finding skills.
• Ability to supervise contractors.
• Competence in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• F-Gas certification and refrigerant experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to onsite equipment.
• Manage environmental conditions via the BMS.
• Fault‑find on HVAC plant with VRV/VRF focus.
• Work safely with refrigerants in line with F-Gas requirements.
• Liaise with the client on reactive and planned tasks.
• Supervise subcontractors and participate in on‑call rota.
• Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Complete documentation to standards.
