Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join sites across the UK, including Coalville, Manchester, Daventry and Peterborough. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance to plant, equipment and building services, with emphasis on preventative maintenance and efficient operation.

You will fault-find on HVAC plant, especially VRV/VRF systems, handle F-Gas safely, supervise subcontractors, and support safety champions.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance experience with strong fault-finding skills.
• City and Guilds Mechanical qualifications or equivalent.
• F-Gas safe handling certification required.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and manage site safety.
• Proven track record in risk assessments and safe permit writing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage on-site equipment risks and optimise plant performance.
• Maintain HVAC plant and building services across multiple sites.
• Fault finding on HVAC systems with emphasis on VRV/VRF systems.
• Supervise contractors and coordinate with site supervisor.
• Complete CAFM, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
• Participate in on-call rota and overtime as needed.
