Job summary

MITIE is seeking a Mobile HVAC Engineer to efficiently operate and maintain building AC/HVAC services across Bournemouth and surrounding areas. The role includes routine maintenance, fault finding, and minor works with certification and documentation completed on time.

The candidate should have five years in an HVAC service role, relevant City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications, and a strong focus on safety and compliance. Out-of-hours work and on-call remunerations apply.

Qualifications

• HVAC-specific qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) required.
• Five years or more in an air-conditioning service role with fault-finding on commercial HVAC systems.
• Desirable: City & Guilds 236/2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance as per SFG20 framework.
• Complete certification, risk assessments, and site documentation accurately.
• Support other Mitie disciplines and attend site meetings or training as required.
• Be proactive on site, support contract mobilisation and ensure efficient use of mobile tech.
