Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer - Air Conditioning to perform planned and reactive maintenance across client sites. You will service split AC systems, VRV/VRF, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment, with on-call duties as needed.

The role requires FGAS/ODS qualifications and a time-served apprenticeship or City & Guilds Level 3/NVQ 3. You will work across diverse environments and use handheld PDA for reporting.

Qualifications

• FGAS & ODS Regulations qualification or equivalent.
• Time-served apprenticeship or City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3.
• Experience in maintenance / facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair air conditioning equipment (split systems, VRV/VRF, heat pumps).
• Maintain refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets and ice machines.
• Complete documentation including inspection reports and service records.
• Identify and report defects, communicating with clients during visits.
• Work with Daikin, Mitsubishi, Midea, Toshiba and LG equipment.
• Participate in On-Call Rota.
