Job summary

Rydon Maintenance Ltd in Bristol is expanding and seeks a skilled HVAC/Mechanical Engineer for our NHS estate. You’ll perform PPM and reactive maintenance across heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, delivering reliable service in multiple NHS facilities.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll work with a mobile role around Bristol, ensuring safe, compliant operations and accurate records while contributing to a dynamic maintenance team with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience in maintenance of buildings in a commercial setting, ideally within the NHS.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• You will have a relevant mechanical qualification and be F-Gas certified.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Service chillers, split systems and associated plant.
• Carry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Minor installation, refurbishment and upgrade works.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and within agreed timescales.
• Accurately complete job documentation and service records.
• Participate in an on call rota for emergency and make safe work.
