Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is looking for an HVAC Engineer in Bristol on behalf of a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices. The role covers installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of VRV/VRF, AC units, AHUs and cold rooms.

Offered salary £40,000 - £50,000 DOE with a company van, pension and a profit share scheme, plus overtime and on-call allowances. Bristol-based with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in AC industry (not essential).
• Level 2/3 NVQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas).
• Full Driving Licence.
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair.
• Based in Bristol or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault finding and repair of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
• Work on Split Units, Chillers, AHUs and Cold Rooms as required.

HVAC Engineer required in Bristol for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door
• Pension
• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Live in the Bristol area
