Job summary

Rydon Maintenance Ltd are seeking a mobile HVAC/Mechanical Engineer to support NHS facilities in and around Bristol. You will maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across multiple NHS buildings, delivering both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this role requires a mechanical qualification, F-Gas cert, strong fault-finding and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining HVAC systems in commercial/ healthcare settings.
• F-Gas certification and mechanical qualification are essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance across HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Service chillers, split systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Assist with minor installation, refurbishment and upgrade works.
• Ensure work is safe and within timescales; complete documentation.
• participate in on-call rota for emergencies.
