Job summary

Rydon Maintenance Ltd in Bristol is expanding its specialist Facilities Maintenance team, seeking a skilled HVAC/Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across NHS buildings. The role includes both planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs.

You'll work under the Service Manager, carry out safety-compliant installations and contribute to keeping critical healthcare infrastructure running smoothly with 25 days

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical qualification and F-Gas certification.
• Solid Health & Safety awareness and proven HVAC maintenance experience.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance across HVAC systems.
• Reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Service chillers, split systems and associated plant.
• Maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Minor installation, refurbishment and upgrade works.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and within agreed timescales.
• Accurately completing job documentation and service records.
• Participate in an on call rota for emergency.
