Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a Dispersed Support Worker to provide flexible, person-centred support across dispersed accommodation in the Harlow and Epping area. The role involves partnership with referral agencies, developing support and safety plans, and empowering service users to achieve independent living goals. Travel between sites is expected.

We require a Full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS. The position is temporary with potential for permanent employment, 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

Experience in housing support, social care or supported accommodation.
Knowledge of support planning, safeguarding and independent living.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

Build effective relationships with referral agencies to support new referrals into the service.
Develop and deliver tailored support and safety plans for service users.
Maintain regular contact with service users in line with contractual requirements.
Support individuals to identify and achieve their personal goals.
Develop independent living skills, including support with domestic tasks and daily living.
Ensure properties are well maintained and comply with relevant support agreements.
Support effective rent collection and minimise void periods.
Maintain accurate records and ensure support is delivered in line with service requirements.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
