Job summary

Clearsprings Group is seeking a Housing Officer (Dispersed Accommodation) in Reading to provide direct support and manage a caseload of Service Users across dispersed properties. You will conduct welfare visits, property inspections, and maintain accurate records in line with company procedures.

The role involves a 40-hour week, with a shift pattern (8:00–16:30 and 12:30–21:00), and requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• 40 hours per week with 8am-4:30pm and 12:30pm-9pm shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and management to Service Users within allocated location.
• Manage a caseload of around 200-250 Service Users.
• Attend dispersal and conduct induction of SU into property.
• Signpost to doctors, shops, and support agencies as needed.
• Conduct monthly welfare visits and report incidents and issues.
• Move on SUs by payment end date to avoid voids.
• Arrange initial transport of SUs to their accommodation or relocation.
• Ensure health and safety of SUs at all times.
• Complete BI weekly welfare checks of the SUs.
• Maintain property portfolio with appropriate maintenance and inspections.
• Prepare properties for re-occupation and handback to landlord.
• Ensure stores are maintained per purchasing procedure.
• Collaborate with line manager and team members; provide on-the-job training.
