Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group is seeking a Minor Adaptations Technician to join the West Sussex Community Equipment Services based in Littlehampton. You will install and adapt equipment in service users’ homes, primarily focusing on accessibility and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
• General carpentry experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and empathetic approach with service users.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Install internal and external grab rails, handrails, ramps and related equipment.
• Carry out minor home repairs and adapt installations to user needs.
• Coordinate and plan works with clients to minimise disruption during visits.
• Liaise with the coordinator on surveys, time estimates and materials required.
