Job summary

Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a Minor Adaptations Technician to join the Community Equipment Service Team. The role involves carrying out a range of minor adaptations in service users’ homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including installing grab rails and Kee Klamp rails.

You will work directly with vulnerable residents, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while collaborating with health and social care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of minor adaptations in service users' homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including installation of grab rails, second mopstick stair rails and external Kee Klamp rails.
• Work directly with vulnerable residents to deliver a professional, customer-focused service and respond to queries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social care staff, clients, carers and family members to achieve positive outcomes.
