Job summary

Churchill Living in the UK seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to service homeowners in retirement apartments, traveling within and around the Basingstoke area to perform repairs and alterations. You will ensure high workmanship and minimize disruption for residents from move-in onward.

A valid UK driving licence is required; carpentry, plumbing or decorating experience is expected, with a basic electrical qualification a bonus. The role offers a company van and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge and experience of a trade, ideally carpentry, plumbing and decorating.
• Ideally hold a basic electrical qualification.
• Previous experience in housebuilding/construction would be advantageous.
• City & Guilds qualification preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to homeowners requiring repairs and alterations within their Retirement Apartment.
• Complete snagging issues to a high standard of workmanship as a complimentary service from move-in date and for the first two years.
• Travel within and around the Basingstoke area; maintain diary and tasks; keep disruption to a minimum for homeowners.
