Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a Minor Adaptations Technician to join the Community Equipment Service Team. The role involves carrying out a range of minor adaptations in service users’ homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including installing grab rails and Kee Klamp rails.

You will work directly with vulnerable residents, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while collaborating with health and social care professionals.

Responsabilités

• Carry out a range of minor adaptations in service users' homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including installation of grab rails, second mopstick stair rails and external Kee Klamp rails.
• Work directly with vulnerable residents to deliver a professional, customer-focused service and respond to queries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social care staff, clients, carers and family members to achieve positive outcomes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, practical, and motivated Minor Adaptations Technician to join our busy Community Equipment Service Team, based at Radstock Road Depot, Midsomer Norton on a fixed term contract. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable residents by helping them remain safe, independent, and confident in their own homes., As a Minor Adaptations Technician, you will carry out a range of minor adaptations in service users' homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including the installation of:

• Grab rails
• Second mopstick stair rails
• External Kee Klamp rails

Working directly with vulnerable residents, you will provide a professional and customer-focused service, responding to queries and ensuring adaptations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will be part of a supportive and dedicated team and will work closely with healthcare professionals, social care staff, clients, carers, and family members to help deliver positive outcomes for those who use our service.
