Job summary

Charterhouse Voice and Data PLC in the UK is seeking a Business Development Director for Mobile to drive growth by acquiring new customers and expanding strategic mobile opportunities.

You will build relationships with C‑level and senior stakeholders, lead commercial negotiations, and work with marketing and partners to create a strong pipeline and multi‑year contracts.

The role requires 5–10+ years in mobile telecoms sales or BD and a proven revenue growth track.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in mobile telecommunications sales or business development.
• Proven track record of delivering new business revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of mobile voice and data solutions, MDM, mobile security, IoT, and enterprise mobility strategies.
• Experience engaging with senior decision makers and influencing complex buying decisions.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop strategic partnerships and long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and win new business opportunities across mobile voice, data, devices, MDM, mobile security and IoT solutions.
• Build and maintain C-level and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Create and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage them through the full sales lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Work with Marketing on campaigns, events and lead generation initiatives.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and regular management reports.
