Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support school catering across the West Midlands. The role involves traveling between Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester and Solihull to assist multiple site teams.

You will cover a variety of shifts with no evenings, weekends off, and school holidays included, offering a strong work-life balance. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this position.

ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSEDRetention BONUSfor all attached mobile roles–£200on successful completion of 12 week probation, further£300after 52 weeks complete employment in role.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting school kitchens across multiple locations as required.

Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for pupils and staff.

Assisting with food preparation, service, and presentation.

Keeping kitchen and serving areas clean, safe, and fully stocked.

Supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries.

Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.

Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly.

Representing Sodexo professionally at every site you support.

Working collaboratively with different teams and quickly adapting to new environments.

What We're Looking For
