Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Mobile General Assistant to support our catering teams across Worcester and Kidderminster, with travel to Wolverhampton. You will work across school sites, assisting kitchen and front-of-house teams, while maintaining high standards and delivering excellent service.

This term-time role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, 8am–2:30pm, with mileage reimbursement and 39 weeks paid across 52 weeks. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment is helpful but not a deal breaker.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, communicate at all levels and work to high standards.

• Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.

• Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.

Job description

As a Mobile General Assistant for Sodexo, you'll support our catering teams across Worcester and Kidderminster, with occasional travel to Wolverhampton.

You'll play an important role in keeping our fast-paced food and beverage operations running smoothly. You'll support the kitchen and front-of-house teams, help prepare and present food to a high standard, and ensure customers receive an excellent service experience.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across different school sites, supporting teams and helping to maintain consistently high standards wherever you are needed.

Package Description

Term-time roles. Full-time progression

• £13.00per hour (mileage expenses: first 10.000 miles per miles 0.45pence miles, after it will be 0.25pence per mile)
• 32.5hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 8am - 2:30pm
• Term Time only (39week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks)
• This position requires and Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSEDRetention BONUSfor all attached mobile roles-£200on successful completion of 12 week probation, further£300after 52 weeks complete employment in role.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
