Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer based in Croydon, Greater London. The role covers diagnosing faults, servicing, and repairing forklifts and plant equipment at customer sites across the UK.

You will travel to sites, perform planned and emergency work, and work independently to ensure high service standards. Overtime and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift or plant equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, engines and battery systems.
• NVQ/City & Guilds eng. qualification desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites for planned and emergency work.
• Work independently while upholding high service standards.
• Liaise with customers to provide technical solutions.
• Complete job reports and documentation.
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location: Croydon, Greater London

Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 (door-to-door paid)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 + overtime at 1.5x

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.
