Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to cover West Yorkshire. You will service, repair and maintain diesel, gas and electric forklifts at customer sites, travelling across the region.

The role offers a generous package including a company van, fuel card, door-to-door pay and generous overtime. Training and career progression are provided to develop your skills and earnings potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential).
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or Plant Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklifts.
• Travelling to customer sites across West Yorkshire.
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out breakdown repairs and planned maintenance.
• Ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant with industry standards.
• Providing excellent customer service while working on site.

Are you a skilled Forklift Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding mobile role? As a Mobile Forklift Engineer in West Yorkshire, you'll be responsible for:
