CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Foot Mobile Engineer in Manchester City Centre. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial office buildings, focusing on electrical and mechanical building services to ensure high standards of operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across Manchester City Centre sites.
• Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, emergency lighting, power distribution and small installations.
• Mechanical maintenance including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and HVAC plant.
• Complete landlord and tenant maintenance tasks as required.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and report defects.
• Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors and liaise with clients.

Foot Mobile Engineer - Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: £25 - £27 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Foot Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to join a leading FM service provider in Manchester.

Covering a portfolio of prestigious commercial office buildings across Manchester City Centre, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring all buildings are maintained to the highest standard. This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys variety, is client-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial office buildings.
• Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, emergency lighting, power distribution and small installation works.
• Carry out basic mechanical maintenance including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and HVAC plant.
• Complete landlord and tenant maintenance tasks as required.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ensure all plant is operating efficiently and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and compliance documentation.
• Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors.
• Liaise professionally with clients and building occupiers.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health & Safety legislation.
• Assist with minor fabric and plumbing maintenance where required.

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
• Electrically qualified with a good understanding of mechanical building services
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Able to travel between sites across Manchester City Centre
• Must be able to provide copies of relevant trade qualifications
