Job summary

Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd. is seeking a Foot Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover City of London and West End. The role focuses on PPMs and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of buildings, with a salary around £48,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) with a minimum of five years of experience and a proven ability to fault-find and repair HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair mechanical and HVAC systems.
• PPMs and reactive maintenance experience desirable.
• At least 5 years' Building Services maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance across City of London and West End.
• Maintain motors, generators, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps and associated equipment.
• Carry out isolation of plant to safety requirements and raise close out on PDA systems.

Foot Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Foot Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join an ever growing building services provider working across some of the best buildings in Central London and West End.

Our client, who is known for their personable approach and impressive staff retention rate, have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance across City of London and West End. The Mechanical Engineer will need to be a self motivated individual, having the ability to identify faults and resolve them.

To be successful in this role you will need to be fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds/ NVQ equivalent) with a minimum of five years experience.

Duties

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), Shutdowns, Motors, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, Water Treatment and BMS Operation
• Knowledge of Cooling towers and Chilled water beams.
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent sbject
• Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair mechanical and HVAC associated systems
• Prior Building Services Maintenance experience (At least 5+ years experience)
