Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in London seeks a Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover a portfolio of high-end commercial offices. You will perform electrical and mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance, support tenant and project works, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth service delivery.

The role requires City & Guilds Level 2/3 in electrical or mechanical, health & safety knowledge, and reliability. Occasional out-of-hours work and travel within Zones 1–2 are possible.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in commercial buildings.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge (PPM and reactive).
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across multiple commercial office sites
• Carry out electrical and mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance
• Support tenant and project works
• Manage and liaise with subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (fire alarms, emergency lighting, water treatment, HVAC AHUs/FCUs)
• Complete reports and monthly compliance documentation
• Occasionally work out-of-hours or attend call-outs

Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Client Direct - London - Commercial Offices - Up to £50K

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing companies of it's type in London. Currently there are opportunities within the organisationfor Fabric Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers due to growth within the company. As a Foot Mobile Engineer, you'll work across a portfolio of high-end commercial office buildings. You'll also assist with quoted works and tenant maintenance projects. This role offers variety, autonomy, and clear progression into senior roles such as Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across multiple commercial office sites
• Carry out both electrical and mechanicalPPM(Planned Preventative Maintenance) andreactive maintenance
• Supporttenant and project works, ensuring smooth delivery of additional services
• Manage and liaise with subcontractors for specialist services
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including:
• Fire alarms
• Emergency lighting
• Water treatment
• HVAC systems, including AHUs and FCUs
• Complete reports, logbooks, and assist with monthly compliance documentation
• Occasionally work out-of-hours or attend call-outs (where applicable)

Salary & Package

• £37,000 - £50,000 depending on discipline, certificates and experience

What We're Looking For

• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 IF Electrical or Mechanical (or equivalent)
• Previous experience incommercial building maintenance
• Good understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
• Confident, client-facing, and reliable with strong communication skills
• Willing to travel within Zones 1–2 and work semi-static across key sites
