Job summary

Path Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the North and visit customer sites to diagnose faults, service machinery and complete mechanical repairs. You will work on a varied range of construction plant and travel between sites across the North, using your own tools and a valid driving licence.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 with a company van, fuel card and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with plant machinery, agricultural machinery, heavy equipment or related sector.
• Able to diagnose mechanical faults and carry out servicing and repairs.
• Confident working independently at customer sites with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair plant machinery on customer sites in the North.
• Work with excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers and similar construction equipment to minimise downtime.
• Travel between customer sites with own tools and full driving licence.
