Job summary

Elite Consultancy Network is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a mobile role covering the North East region. You will service, maintain and repair heavy plant equipment, diagnosing faults in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and minimising downtime on customer sites.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, a full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently across customer sites in the North East.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy plant machinery and field-based servicing.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with diesel engines and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining heavy plant and construction equipment.
• Attending customer breakdowns throughout the North East.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out repairs and minimising machine downtime.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Repairing and replacing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.
• Providing a professional service to customers on site.
