Job summary

About the Role – Key Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide a professional service to customers across the North, attending sites to diagnose faults, carry out servicing and complete mechanical repairs.
You will work on a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers and similar construction equipment. A typical day will involve travelling to customer sites, fault-finding, preventative maintenance, servicing machinery and completing repairs to minimise downtime.
This is a genuinely mobile position, offering variety and independence. You will need a full driving licence and your own tools to carry out the role effectively.

About You – Skills & Experience

The ideal Field Service Engineer will have previous experience working on plant machinery, agricultural machinery, heavy equipment or a closely related sector.

You should be confident diagnosing mechanical faults, carrying out servicing and repairs, and working independently at customer sites. A practical, customer-focused approach and good communication skills are essential.

You must hold a full driving licence and have your own tools. Experience with excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers or similar construction equipment would be highly advantageous.
